Y Def aka God’s Son originally known as Tarekebi Posky Beinbein is a highly gifted Gospel Rap artist.

Y.Def hails from Ekeremor LGA, Bayelsa State in Nigeria.

Y.Def started his music career as a circular rap artist dropping mixtapes in his university days ( Niger Delta University BAYELSA), performing in various shows/events both on radio and on stages, then later he switched to gospel rap because he wanted to inspire, motivate, edify and entice/influence listeners especially the rising generation to do good and make good choices with his rhymes. He has always been known for being lyrically articulated and he’s so versatile, that he can jump on any beat and display his rap skills and still deliver a positive message at the same time.

In the year 2020, he released a song titled “Cogitate” featuring one of Bayelsa’s finest gospel singers named “Medlye“.

The song got nominated for “Best Collaboration” in the “Bayelsa International Gospel Award” (BIGA).

Following that release, he dropped a song titled “Better Man” featuring N8sensation, Ohis Jason and Sarah kal.

which also got an international recognition/award in “Contemporary Gospel” category in a “Youth Music Festival” organised by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Salt Lake, Utah.

Following the success of the song Better man, he dropped his official EP afterwards with the title “Good Report EP“.
