Mohamed Amir Dollie, known professionally as Kidd Cartel is a South African rapper, songwriter, record producer and record executive. He is a 4x Music Award nominated artist as well as a multi-platinum recording artist.

He rose to international prominence in 2019 and is often cited as one of the greatest melodical rappers to ever set bars on the mic in South Africa.
He was invited by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) to be nominated for two South African Music Awards in 2019 and 2020.

Born on January 14, 2000, he grew up in the heart of Rondebosch East, Cape Town where he currently still has his family home located.

Cartel’s professional career began in 2018, when he was noticed by fellow South African rapper, Nasty C (in 2017) & pushed him on to taking his musical career to a whole new dimension.

He then created his LLC record label, titled “The Deepnd Records” that same year and co-signed 4 local rappers until expanding internationally in 2019.

Kidd Cartel currently has 6 professional studio EP’s to date and is set to release another in the rise of 2024.
